研究概述ch Description

  本实验室致力于野生稻种质资源的创新和水稻高产基因发掘利用研究。利用野生稻导入系创造优良新种质,发掘优良基因资源,克隆野生稻大穗、杂种优势等高产和抗稻曲病基因,解析水稻高产、抗稻曲病的(表观)遗传和分子机制及其代谢调控网络,为水稻遗传改良、分子设计提供新基因、新种质和新思路。

  My scientific interests mainly focus on the innovation and exploration of favorable genes for high grain yield and photosynthesis rate hidden in wild rice, and dissecting their underlying molecular mechanism. Employing the high grain yield and disease resistant backcross inbred lines (BIL) developed from wild rice Oryza longistaminata, cloning the genes for great panicle, heterosis, and false smut resistance characters, and elucidate the underlying (epi)genetic mechanism and metabolic network, so as to provide new genes, elite germplasm and novel strategies for rice improvement through molecular design and molecular editing.
