　　杨焕明，华大集团联合创始人、现任华大集团董事、理事长。中国科学院院士，丹麦皇家科学院、美国国家科学院、德国国家科学院、印度科学院、发展中国家科学院（TWAS）外籍院士，欧洲分子生物学组织（EMBO）外籍成员，中国科学院教授及中国医学科学院教授。博士毕业于丹麦哥本哈根大学，后在法国、美国从事博士后研究。1999年作为联合创始人创建华大基因，历任华大基因研究院理事长，华大学院院长。

　　杨焕明教授和他的团队为“人类基因组计划”、“人类单体型图计划”等国际合作的基因组计划，以及第一个亚洲人基因组、人类泛基因组学、古人类基因组、肠道Meta基因组、癌症基因组、外显子组和甲基化组的研究做出了重大贡献。

Brief Introduction of Professor Huanming Yang

Huanming Yang is Co-founder, director and chairman of the BGI Group and is in charge of BGI College. He is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences, the German National Academy of Sciences, the Indian Academy of Sciences, and the Academy of Developing Countries (TWAS), a foreign member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), a professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a professor of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

Huanming Yang graduated from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, with a Ph.D. After that, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in France and the United States. In 1999, he co-founded BGI and served as the chairman of BGI Research and the director of BGI College.

He is also responsible for teams actively working on international genome projects such as the Human Genome Project, the Human Haplogram Project, the Thousand Human Genome Project, and the first Asian genome, human pan-genomics, and ancient human genome. Huanming Yang has made significant scientific contributions to the study of the intestinal Meta genome, cancer genomics, exome and methylation groups.
